My personal experience with a client who wanted SEO to be performed for their website and their reaction on my market research and testing performed to identify the problem and provide the correct solution
I had a recent encounter with a client whose main business is service oriented. The business had a very little digital presence. They gave me a project to perform SEO for their website for a span of 1 year. I took couple of day’s time, performed my research and tested the business performance and identified the client’s problem for their business.
Customers expect that they receive calls as soon as SEO is performed and their website gets to the first page of different search engines. Well it does not happen that way all the time.
In this case the customer’s business main problem was lack of awareness among their target customers. Only 5% of the population of Australia were aware of their service. I have explained them that just by performing SEO would not bring customers to their door step. They needed Social Media marketing, Email marketing and even YouTube marketing to make people aware of their service. The client was actually very happy with the plan I have given.
